PIGMENT
TREATMENTS
Different pigment needs
different decisions
BeauDerma may use PicoSure Pro, Elite iQ or a staged combination for selected pigmentation concerns. The choice is based on the lesion, likely depth, colour, skin tone and risk of post-treatment pigment change.
Before treatment
The area must be assessed. Changing, irregular, bleeding, symptomatic or suspicious lesions are not treated and should be medically evaluated. Recent tanning, self-tanner, active irritation and certain medications can delay treatment.
After treatment
Pigment may darken before it flakes or fades. Do not pick. Use gentle care and diligent broad-spectrum sun protection. Contact the clinic if you experience blistering, increasing pain, drainage or an unexpected reaction.
Maintenance
Treatment does not stop future sun damage, hormones or inflammation from creating new pigment. Daily sun protection and appropriate maintenance are part of a durable plan.
