Tattoo removal is influenced by ink colour, density, depth, layering, age, location, circulation, previous treatment, scarring and skin tone. PicoSure Pro uses picosecond energy with wavelength options that can address a broad range of tattoo colours, but no device can guarantee complete removal of every ink.

How many sessions?
Many tattoos require a substantial series, often 6–10 or more treatments, commonly spaced about 6–10 weeks apart. Some need fewer; others may plateau or retain resistant pigment. Your estimate will be a range, not a promise.
Permanent makeup requires extra caution
Some cosmetic inks can darken or change colour when exposed to laser energy. Test spots, staged treatment or an alternative method may be recommended. Treatment near the eyes also requires appropriate eye protection and suitability.
Possible effects
Redness, swelling, pinpoint bleeding, blistering, crusting, temporary pigment changes, texture change or incomplete clearance can occur. Scarring is uncommon but possible. Careful aftercare and interval spacing are important.
