What to expect
Hair grows in cycles, and laser is most effective when hairs are in an active growth stage. A series is normally required. Many plans begin with approximately 6–8 sessions, with timing commonly around 4–8 weeks depending on area and growth cycle. Hormones, medications, hair colour and biology affect response. Maintenance may be helpful over time.
Good candidates
Laser responds best when hair contains sufficient pigment. Blonde, grey, white and some red hair may respond poorly. Tanned skin, photosensitizing medications, active infection and certain medical or skin conditions may require postponement or another approach.
Comfort and downtime
You may feel brief heat or snapping sensations. Zimmer air cooling is available to support comfort. Temporary redness, swelling around follicles, sensitivity or colour change can occur. You will receive preparation and aftercare instructions based on your plan.
